Step 4: Hit the “Continue” button and pick a way to verify that you own your website. Here, you can choose any from HTML file upload, HTML tag, domain name provider, etc.
Step 5: If you opt for an HTML tag, click the arrow next to the HTML tag to expand the option and copy the Meta tag.
Step 6: Now, log in to your WordPress website and click on “SEO”> “General”> “Webmaster Tools.”

NOTE: If your website supports both http:// and https://, add both as separate websites. You should also add each domain like xyz.com, www.xyz.com, and blog.xyx.com.
